A new range of peat-based skincare for both men and women has been unveiled by Óg Ireland.
Products include a cleanser, toner, moisturiser, body scrub and body mask. Pure 9,000 year-old peat is used in the mask while peat extract is used in the creams.
A full menu of treatments to accompany Óg Ireland's products has also been produced.
Natural peat contains essential oils, fatty acids and lipoids which help to re-establish the natural ph balance of the skin. It is said to be naturally hypo-allergenic and suitable for even the most sensitive skin while it also contains preserving properties and has considerable moisture retention.
